  • FROM THE ARCHIVES: During his seminar on Saturday, Mark Simmons frequently referenced the lessons he had learned from Master Coach Adrian Teodorescu of Atlas Boxing. I knew I had an old poster that Mark Leduc had given me. So I dug through the archives and it turns out that Mark Simmons actually fought on this card in June of 1993. @lefthook25 @atlas_boxing @domenicfilane @realdonovanboucher

  • This was a special moment yesterday of Mark Simmons holding the heavy bag for his childhood boxing hero, Leroy Pink. Leroy went undefeated against some of Toronto's best pros in the early 80's. Mark said that Leroy was one of the pros at their gym who always had time to answer his questions and encourage him. Boxing is beautiful. WSBC was proud to reunite these two for the first time in more than 40 years. 👊🥹

  • Thanks to all who came out! A few quick highlights from today's seminar with Olympic Heavyweight, Mark Simmons. Everyone learned a great deal about lead hand control and had fun. We were particularly proud to reunite Mark with one of his childhood boxing mentors, Leroy Pink. Professional photos and videos to follow.
  • ON THIS DATE in 1992. Training out of Kingston, at the advanced age of 36, and after qualifying but being passed over for Seoul 1988, Mark Leduc talks about his chances in the Olympics in Barcelona. "I want to go to Barcelona and enjoy the Olympics completely and not accept anything less than a medal. I want a medal...I know I can do it. I'm going to do it." 🥈👊💥
